Mindfulness Meditation

Mindfulness Meditation is a powerful practice that has its roots in ancient Buddhism over 2,600 years ago. It’s now also an evidenced-based intervention for increasing physical and mental health, helping us build emotional resilience in a world swirling with complexities that confuse and confound us all.

Even just a few minutes a day can increase our sense of equanimity and well-being amidst life’s “ten thousand joys and ten thousand sorrows.” I am a certified Mindfulness Meditation teacher (MMTCP), mentored by Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield, with fifteen years experience developing my own mindfulness practice.

Take a few moments to practice a meditation break with me!

sustaining a meditation practice

If you are seeking to build and grow your own personal meditation practice in community with others, I offer one hour community gatherings to support you in returning to, befriending, and sustaining, your own practice. Together we meditate. Together we share. Together we transform. As Thich Nhat Hanh, the “father of modern mindfulness” has taught us, “Peace in oneself, peace in the world.”
